A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM
We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior Graphic Motion Designer and Video Editor to join our creative agency. The candidate will be remote based in Mexico working for a client in San Francisco. This role combines cutting-edge design skills with traditional motion graphics and video editing expertise to create compelling visual content for a leading B2B finance solutions company.
The candidate should demonstrate an interest in expanding their knowledge and use of GenAI tools. Training will be available on Pencil Pro and other AI tools to amplify the creative process.
The Motion Designer will create dynamic motion graphics, animations and videos using both traditional and AI-powered tools, accelerating and enhance the creative process.
 
WHAT IS REQUIRED:
• Develop visually compelling video content for digital platforms, social media, presentations and other platforms
• Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all animated content
• Collaborate with creative teams to execute campaign concepts
• Ability to receive a toolkit and a localised brief, with the footage and/or a shot list, script, or storyboard to create the masters for different formats and sizes
• Produce creative motion graphics and editing work with a clear rationale to accompany the brief
• Creating assets from scratch or adapting from existing work, 2D animations, motion graphics, videos, etc.
• Following strict brand guidelines, while finding the right balance between creative flare and sticking closely to the guidelines
• Experience in utilizing AI tools to create and iterate on design concepts
• Stay current with emerging generative AI design technologies, techniques and technologies
• Present creative concepts to internal teams and clients
• Optimize workflows by effectively combining AI tools with traditional design processes
• Work collaboratively with the creative team to establish design systems and templates for AI generation
Create inspiring and exciting content – from repurposing, reformatting of assets to ideation
• Keenly evaluate and monitor industry trends and brands, research industry developments in branding and marketing to be at the forefront of creative excellence
• Strong project management skills, teamed with an aptitude for managing multiple varying sized projects seamlessly for a high-profile client
WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE:
• Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships
• An innate creative flair, strong art direction and conceptual skills – full of ideas across multi-platforms
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of AI creative generations
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro; Cinema4D, Blender, ElevenLabs is a plus)
• Experience in content production
• Strong typography, layout and technical skills with excellent attention to detail
• An understanding how to work across online banners (static and animated), social media posts (primarily META and LinkedIn), web design, UI design and storytelling
• An understanding of responsive design across all digital platforms
• An understanding of UX and latest Social and Digital technology trends
• Motion and video skills using After Effects. & Premiere. Storyboarding Animation concepts
• Confidence to be positioned as a video subject matter expert across the wider team
• Competence and understanding of end-to-end post-production processes
• Experience in finance sector a strong advantage.
