About the role:
As a Sr. Designer, you will partner with our client—a leading global innovation and manufacturing company—to lead the design of a high volume of assets for their U.S. and Canada B2B divisions. You will drive creative projects from brief to completion, ensuring strict adherence to our client's brand direction, style guides, and tone of voice. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers and strategic stakeholders while managing a talented team of designers.
You will thrive in this fast-paced environment if you have creative-agency experience and a knack for tackling a wide range of deliverables. Working alongside a copywriter, designers, project managers, and fantastic clients, you will adapt and design brochures, presentations, sales enablement materials, social media campaigns, banner ads, videos, emails, and web/e-commerce content.
What you will be doing: Creative Direction & Execution
• Lead design delivery: Direct digital, print, and video projects across six divisions of the US/Canada B2B business group.
• Drive creative concepts: Develop creative and graphic concepts across multiple touchpoints, campaigns, and channels to meet content objectives.
• Champion the brand: Define and adapt the brand look and feel for various platforms while ensuring consistent representation across all deliverables.
• Evangelize design frameworks: Master and ensure consistency with design guidelines, templates, and toolkits to enable global consistency and elevate execution quality.
• Lead creative reviews: Facilitate design reviews and drive continuous improvement of digital deliverables within your scope of responsibility.
Team Leadership & Management
• Mentor and develop: Manage and coach junior creative team members, providing clear direction, targets, and development opportunities.
• Optimize resources: Continuously monitor team workload and organizational efficiency using data and feedback, making adjustments to meet business needs.
• Manage change: Lead the design team through process changes, ensuring smooth adoption and maintaining high-quality delivery.
Production & Process Management
• Oversee production: Follow projects closely through all stages of production and online deployment.
• Manage quality control: Oversee the preparation of all finished files, ensuring complete compliance with correct output specifications.
What you need to be great in this role:
Experience & Qualifications
• 6-8+ years of experience as a Digital, Interactive, and/or Visual Designer in an advertising, branding, or in-house agency.
• Experience successfully leading and managing designers.
• Consistent track record of interpreting briefs, developing creative brand solutions, and delivering projects within agreed deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: B2B experience is highly preferred.
Technical & Design Skills
• Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, coupled with a deep affinity for layout, typography, and idea generation.
• Strong understanding of brand marketing content delivery needs, solutions, and processes.
• Ability to maintain consistency across designs while maintaining a highly creative approach.
• Bonus skills: Working knowledge of After Effects animation, experience with design automation, and an awareness of UX, UI, and Responsive Design trends.
Leadership & Soft Skills
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels, both in-person and remotely.
• Strong strategic capacity to establish mid- and long-term plans, drive execution, and analyze results.
• A passionate, self-motivated, and open-minded professional who excels at building influential, collaborative relationships across an organization.
