About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Data Engineer to design and implement scalable Snowflake data architectures. This senior role requires extensive experience in data engineering, cloud platforms, and ETL processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement scalable Snowflake data architectures for enterprise data warehousing
- →Optimize Snowflake performance through advanced tuning and warehousing strategies
- →Develop robust data pipelines using Python and DBT
- →Implement security best practices including RBAC, data masking, and row-level security
- →Architect and manage AWS-based data solutions using S3, Redshift, Lambda, and other services
- →Orchestrate complex data workflows using Apache Airflow
- →Integrate and process high-volume data using Apache ecosystem tools
Requirements
- ✓12-15 years of experience in data engineering with Snowflake
- ✓Advanced hands-on experience with Snowflake performance tuning and warehousing
- ✓Expertise in Snowflake security features
- ✓Proficiency in Python programming for data engineering
- ✓In-depth knowledge of DBT for data modeling and testing
- ✓Strong experience with AWS services
- ✓Extensive experience with Apache Airflow
- ✓Proficiency in version control using Git
- ✓Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, and Hive
- ✓Solid understanding of Hadoop ecosystem
- ✓Expertise in SQL including SnowSQL, PLSQL, and T-SQL
- ✓Strong requirement understanding and documentation skills
