BryceTech is currently looking for a Security Analyst IV. This position will be supporting Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological Radiological Nuclear Defense – Medical. This role will provide security analysis support to Government project leads, to include travel when needed.
• Requires Secret (S) access to perform Access Control tasks, monitor the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and manage operations across multiple Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).
• Maintains an Access Control program for CBRN Medical, processes visitors and conducts 100% ID checks to ensure only authorized persons with valid identification enter.
• Creates and implements foreign visitor procedures for CBRN Medical and ensures all required documentation is obtained prior to visits by Foreign Nationals.
• Becomes familiar with and able to demonstrate knowledge of CBRN Medical’s Emergency Action Plans (EAPs covering fire, bomb, intruder, etc.).
• Preserves order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives to ensure site viability and the safety of personnel, equipment, and sensitive information.
• Conducts building sweeps in restricted and non‑restricted areas; completes Fort Detrick‑required Random Antiterrorism Measures (RAMs) daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly; identifies potentially prohibited items; and checks the status of non‑classified areas within Buildings
• Answers telephones and emails related to assigned duties.
• Maintains the Department of the Army (DA) Form 1999 “Restricted Area Visitor Register,” manages secure locations (e.g., SIPRNET rooms), and maintains access rosters for classified locations; works with the Fort Detrick Security Office to assist employees with SIPRNET room access.
• Organizes and manages secure safes located within Buildings, including periodically changing combinations on SIPRNET rooms and safes when required.
• Works with the CBRN Medical Operations Director to support security programs, recommend improvements, and provide brief summaries of events impacting daily operations.
• Performs Personnel Security (PERSEC) tasks within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
• Serves as subject matter expert during emergency operations, including crisis response, continuity, contingency, and exercise activities.
• Serves as Primary Point of Contact (POC) for the Fort Detrick Mailroom; distributes and tracks all incoming mail, packages, and shipments.
• Conducts Start/End of Day procedures and reports potential findings to the CBRN Medical Operations Director.
• Completes and compiles Standard Form 701 “Activity Security Checklist” and DA Form 1594 “Daily Staff Journal,” maintaining accountability logs and reports for visiting personnel daily.
• Creates an Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance Systems (APACS) account; processes and directs travel requests for CBRN Medical personnel on official foreign travel orders; reviews theater and country‑specific information in the DoD Electronic Foreign Clearance Guide.
• Supports classified meetings by setting up and taking down meeting rooms, adhering to security protocols, collecting electronic devices, providing sign‑in sheets, and delivering the general announcement before meetings begin.
• Plans, organizes, directs, and leads emergency response programs for CBRN Medical.
• Serves as subject matter expert to the Director of Operations on emergency response, Chemical/Biological/Radiological/Nuclear operations, and emergency management.
• Organizes, plans, and manages emergency response programs with Federal, state, and local entities.
• Develops programs providing emergency guidance and required training to installation personnel.
• Oversees the Combating Terrorism program and supports the installation operational security program.
• Maintains CCTV devices located at Buildings
• Manages Key Control Custodian responsibilities for Buildings
• Attends Fort Detrick Installation Protection Executive Committee meetings and other installation security‑related meetings.
• Works an 8‑hour shift Monday through Friday from 0800–1630.
• Creates and enforces a Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) for CBRN Medical covering security roles and responsibilities, security violations, Classified Destruction Procedures, and other security‑related subjects.
• Creates and oversees clearance upgrades for all CBRN Medical personnel whose duties require access to critical‑sensitive or special‑sensitive information.
• Conducts and manages the initial inspection for a Controlled Access Area (CAA) to be activated, ensuring the area meets Army NETCOM Form 390‑5‑8 requirements.
• Creates and leads a CBRN Medical Security In‑Processing Brief for incoming personnel covering security responsibilities, basic DoD security policies, and the importance of protecting government assets.
• Creates an Emergency Action Plan for CBRN Medical Buildings SIPRNET and newly activated SIPR areas, covering procedures for protection, evacuation, and emergency destruction of classified information.
• Serves as lead Point of Contact for CBRN Medical for all Physical, Personnel, Industrial, and Anti‑Terrorism security topics or incidents.
• Serves as lead security POC for CBRN Medical during installation CCRI or SIPRNET area inspections.
• Reviews and approves the security portion of all DD2875 System Authorization Access Requests for CBRN Medical personnel.
• Conducts and manages all in‑processing and out‑processing for Civilian, Military, and contractor personnel.
• Conducts and leads SIPRNET walkthroughs and training for new personnel or those requiring remedial training.
