About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Director of Social Media to lead Bumble's global social strategy and direction. This role involves setting the vision and approach for how Bumble engages across key social platforms, building community and driving brand impact while overseeing strategy, planning, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead, inspire, and mentor direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- →Own and evolve the global social media strategy with unified brand voice across platforms and regions
- →Oversee creative development of social-first campaigns, brand partnerships, and platform activations
- →Partner with regional social and marketing leads across Americas, EMEA, and APAC to align strategy
- →Establish clear KPIs, performance goals, and reporting structures to evaluate social program success
- →Serve as budget owner for the global social team, overseeing planning, forecasting, and spend optimization
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience in social media, brand marketing, or creative strategy with 3+ years in leadership
- ✓Proven experience leading a global or multi-regional social media organization for a consumer brand
- ✓Strong people leader with ability to mentor, develop, and retain diverse creative and strategic talent
- ✓Deep understanding of social culture, platforms, algorithms, and storytelling on TikTok and Instagram
- ✓Exceptional communicator, relationship builder, and cross-functional collaborator
- ✓Confident in managing budgets, tracking KPIs, and presenting results to senior leadership
- ✓Thrives in fast-moving, dynamic environments with ability to prioritize effectively
