About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Content Designer to join Bumble's Product team. This senior role involves shaping product experiences through clear, inclusive, and emotionally resonant language for millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead content design for complex product initiatives, shaping end-to-end experiences from concept through launch
- →Define and evolve scalable content systems, language patterns, and voice guidelines for clarity and accessibility
- →Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Researchers, and Engineers to embed content strategy early
- →Solve advanced content challenges including naming, taxonomy, information architecture, and system messaging
- →Act as a strategic thought partner across Product, Trust & Safety, Legal, and Customer Experience
- →Champion inclusive, human-centered language reflecting Bumble’s global community
- →Explore and apply AI-assisted tools to improve content quality, scalability, and personalization
Requirements
- ✓8–10 years of experience in content design, UX writing, or language design for consumer-facing digital products
- ✓Deep expertise in content systems, voice and tone, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles
- ✓Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners through clear thinking and communication
- ✓Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels
- ✓Demonstrates Curiosity and Excellence by continuously evolving craft
- ✓Actively uses AI tools in day-to-day work and understands their thoughtful application
- ✓Collaborative approach with ownership of impact
