About the Role
ButterflyMX is seeking a Senior Full Stack Computer Vision Engineer to join our engineering team. This role combines full stack development skills with a passion for machine learning to enhance our access control products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, train, and deploy machine learning models that enhance ButterflyMX products
- →Build and maintain full stack applications integrating ML capabilities
- →Develop and optimize data pipelines for model training and inference
- →Fine-tune existing models for ButterflyMX-specific use cases
- →Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify ML opportunities
- →Evaluate and implement ML approaches balancing performance and deployment
- →Contribute to backend and frontend development for ML integration
- →Stay current with ML research and bring innovations to the team
- →Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
Requirements
- ✓Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
- ✓Demonstrated experience training or fine-tuning ML models with specific project examples
- ✓Solid full stack development experience including backend services and APIs
- ✓Hands-on experience with the complete ML lifecycle
- ✓Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- ✓Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
- ✓Ability to work as a generalist across the stack
- ✓Genuine passion for machine learning shown through projects or research
