Candid Health is seeking an experienced FDE Manager to lead our Forward Deployed Engineering team. This role involves working at the intersection of software development, business goals, and client success, directly addressing technical challenges for healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and mentor a high-performing team of FDEs
- →Ensure technical quality and business impact of production systems
- →Partner with Product, Sales, and Leadership teams to align fieldwork with product roadmap
- →Translate field experience into tools and feedback for Product and Research teams
- →Manage high-pressure deployments for large organizations
- →Improve reliability and scale through data-driven decisions
Requirements
- ✓B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or related field
- ✓5+ years of experience in Software Engineering Leadership
- ✓Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles
- ✓Track record of shipping high-quality features in strategic product areas
- ✓Experience managing and delivering ambitious technical projects
- ✓Excellent technical decision-making skills
- ✓Ability to manage in multiple directions and advocate for team needs
- ✓Experience with interviewing, hiring, and mentoring engineering teams
- ✓Clear and concise communication skills
