About the Role
We are looking for an Education Design Lead to guide the creative strategy, vision, and execution of Canvaβs Education content ecosystem. This role acts as the creative authority for Canvaβs Education Content, shaping the long-term creative vision for classroom-ready content and setting standards for how Education content is created, scaled, and experienced.
Key Responsibilities
- βEstablish Educationβs long-term creative strategy across Product and Marketplace
- βManage and mentor a team of Content Creatives
- βEnsure quality while expanding Canvaβs production funnels to scale education content
- βOversee end-to-end content creation from concept to execution
- βEnsure all content meets learning, cultural, and accessibility standards
- βCollaborate with Learning Experience group and i18n to align content to real classroom needs
- βPartner with Product teams to deliver new content features that support educators and learners
- βBuild scalable creative frameworks and guidelines tailored for Kβ12 audiences
Requirements
- β6-10 years experience in a similar creative leadership role
- βStrong creative background with ability to develop creative strategies
- βExperience leading content creation with AI tools in creative workflows
- βExperience leading content creation across multiple formats
- βExperience translating data/user insights into creative decisions
- βExperience working with diverse stakeholders
- βExperience coaching, mentoring, and developing junior creatives
- βExperience with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
- βExperience contributing to hiring and team-building
