Join the team redefining how the world experiences design — through community.
Kamusta, hey, g’day, mabuhay, kia ora, ä˝ ĺĄ˝, hallo!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be time consuming, so we’ll get straight to the good stuff.
Community is at the heart of Canva. It’s how people discover us, learn with us, and fall in love with designing. And in the Philippines, there’s an incredible opportunity to build something truly special.

Where and how you can work
This role is based in the Philippines. We offer flexibility in how and where you work — whether that’s from home, a co-working space, or somewhere in between. We trust you to find the balance that helps you do your best work and stay deeply connected to your community.

What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva continues to scale, change is part of our DNA — and we like to think that’s all part of the fun. This gives you a flavour of what you’ll be working on, knowing it will continue to evolve.
As Community Manager for the Philippines, you’ll be responsible for building, growing, and nurturing Canva’s local communities — with an initial focus on Educators and Creators. You’ll introduce Canva to new audiences, bring them on a journey with our brand and product, and help them feel like they truly belong.
This is a role for someone who loves building from the ground up. You’re equal parts creative and strategic, comfortable turning ambiguity into action, and excited by the challenge of growing engaged, passionate communities.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
• Building and owning Canva’s Community programs in the Philippines, from strategy through to execution
• Developing and managing an always-on content calendar for our communities across facebook & exploring new channel options like viber.
• Brainstorming and producing engaging content that educates, inspires, and entertains — including video tutorials, webinars, live events, design challenges, product launches, case studies, and social-first content
• Hosting and facilitating virtual and live community events, workshops, and creator activations
• Building strong relationships and acting as a champion for local educators, creators, designers, and partners
• Managing and growing local creator social media channels, ensuring consistent tone of voice and brand alignment
• Initiating campaigns to acquire new creators, deepen loyalty, and keep the community active and engaged
• Partnering with Canva’s creative, content, and i18n teams to localise campaigns and briefs, and tracking creator output against targets
• Enabling local educators, designers, and NFPs to publish templates and elements for the wider Canva community
• Onboarding new creators and supporting them with education, resources, and ongoing engagement
• Managing a local budget for acquisition, activation, and engagement initiatives
• Creating monthly insights reports and tracking KPIs to measure community growth, engagement, and content performanceYou’re probably a match if:
• You love Canva, use our product, and are passionate about empowering others to design.
• You’re based in the Philippines and fluent in English and Tagalog (written and spoken)
• You’re a natural connector and community-builder, with experience engaging audiences both online and offline
• You’ve grown or managed online communities — ideally large Facebook groups — through content, events, partnerships, or outreach
• You have a strong ability to “read the room,” bringing people together around new ideas and shared goals
• You thrive in ambiguity, bring positive energy, and have a strong bias for action
• You’re a thoughtful problem-solver who leads with empathy and urgency, making people feel heard and supported
• You’re confident running virtual workshops and creating or publishing video content across social platforms
• You’re comfortable working with data and metrics, using insights to inform creative and strategic decisions
• You may have a background as a graphic designer or educator, or a deep curiosity about applying your creative or teaching experience in a community role
• You already have — or are excited to build — a network of local creators and/or educators

In the Philippines, we see a huge opportunity to empower educators and creators, uplift the local creative economy, and build a vibrant, supportive Canva community that people are proud to be part of.
