About the Role

We are looking for an experienced incident responder to join Canva's Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) team. This role focuses on safeguarding Canva's systems, data, and user information through proactive and reactive security measures.

Key Responsibilities

→Participate in the on-call roster for security incident response
→Maintain incident response documentation and contribute to incident reports
→Act as an escalation point and incident coordinator for security incidents
→Respond to security events from detection through to resolution
→Monitor Canva's internal and production systems for possible attacks
→Proactively run threat detection exercises and search for anomalous behavior
→Build and develop tools for security incident alerting and response

Requirements

✓Experience in security incident response and coordinating investigations
✓Ability to build and maintain security tooling and infrastructure
✓Passion for improving systems and processes to prevent future incidents
✓Comfort working with cross-functional teams and communicating clearly under pressure
