About the Role
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join Canva's Networking team. This role focuses on designing, building, and operating a global network infrastructure that connects Canva's services across multiple providers.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign, build and operate a network spanning multiple infrastructure providers globally
- βDevelop software for infrastructure automation across various providers
- βProvide on-call support for the team's products and drive operational excellence
- βCollaborate with stakeholders in Security, Product, and Platform teams to understand their needs
Requirements
- βStrong software and networking engineering experience with Golang, Python or Java
- βSolid understanding of networking including routing protocols, network architecture, and Linux networking concepts
- βExperience deploying and operating networks with cloud or NaaS providers
- βKnowledge of infrastructure platforms to create secure, reliable systems
- βExperience with infrastructure automation systems and control loop architectures
- βFamiliarity with declarative configuration for infrastructure management
