About the Role

We are looking for a passionate SEO Content Specialist to join the International SEO team at Canva to help scale our growth in Thailand. This 12-month contract role involves creating and managing engaging, SEO-optimized content for local audiences in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

→Champion content requirements for landing pages and blog articles, supporting the development of long-term content strategy
→Create and edit SEO-optimized, engaging content about various design topics that align with the SEO team's content strategy
→Upload and publish content that follows the latest SEO best practices and fits our local tone of voice
→Regularly track and optimize landing pages to maintain freshness and enhance user engagement
→Provide feedback on content management systems, translation quality, and page layout
→Work closely with the Thailand SEO team to align on goals and SEO best practices
→Support broader SEO activities such as keyword research and competitor analysis
→Collaborate with marketing and community teams to ensure content strategy reflects local market dynamics
→Stay curious about emerging search and discovery trends in the Thai market
→Experiment with new content formats and optimization approaches as the search landscape evolves

Requirements

✓Native or near-native proficiency in Thai with business-level English
✓Proven experience in SEO content writing and/or content marketing
✓Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
✓Experience with editorial planning and publishing content in a CMS
✓Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals: keyword optimization, content structure, and user intent
✓Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar platforms
✓Experience using web analytics tools to understand user engagement
✓High attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions
