About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst specialized in energy to join our team. This role involves working at the heart of strategic and operational transformation projects for our clients in the energy sector. You will play a key role as an interface between business and technology teams, translating complex issues into concrete, sustainable, and value-oriented solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- βLead and facilitate business workshops and client committees (billing, customer relationship, sales, operations) to structure the collection of needs and align solutions with regulatory, operational, and customer issues
- βWrite business requirements documents (BRD), use cases, functional specifications, and user stories
- βTranslate specific energy sector issues (CIS/billing, EDI, customer journey, B2B or mass market offers) into functional requirements and business rules covering business, data, application, and technology architectures
- βDesign and model business processes and associated standards
- βDocument, analyze, and contribute to the resolution of application incidents and defects, in collaboration with technical teams, while ensuring the compatibility of solutions and the satisfaction of end-users
- βConduct market studies, sector, and competitive analyses to inform our clients' strategic choices
Requirements
- βHold a Bac+5 degree from a business school, engineering school, or university with at least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst and project management skills
- βEssential experience in energy on CIS/billing, EDI, customer relationship, sales, B2B products, or mass market
- βExperience in wholesale, contracts, utilities, or trading is a plus, as well as conducting business and C-level interviews
- βStrong skills in functional analysis, needs gathering, process mapping, and the ability to structure complex issues and formulate clear recommendations
- βAbility to work in a French and English environment
