About the Role

Capco Poland is seeking a Business Analyst to support the implementation and optimization of the Collibra Edge application within their data management ecosystem. This role will bridge business and technical teams to enhance data governance and lineage.

Key Responsibilities

→Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for Collibra Edge implementation
→Map applications, systems, and data flows to support automated data lineage
→Develop and maintain a dictionary of applications for Collibra Edge scanning
→Identify gaps in metadata capture and lineage processes
→Analyze Collibra Edge outputs for accuracy and completeness
→Detect and correct inconsistencies in lineage results
→Interpret SQL and Python code
→Liaise between business users, IT teams, and data management teams
→Translate business needs into technical specifications

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
✓5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data-focused environments
✓Hands-on experience with Collibra Edge or similar data governance tools
✓Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret SQL and Python code
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✓Ability to explain complex technical concepts in business-friendly language
