Supply Operations Manager at Careem

About the Role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join Careem Grocery, our exciting new vertical within Careem. This role focuses on managing supplier relationships and ensuring optimal inventory levels for grocery, pharmacy, and retail products across the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• →Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure products and stock levels are always available
• →Collaborate with demand planning, commercial, and supply chain teams to ensure proper inventory levels and assortment availability
• →Conduct regular reviews with suppliers to assess performance and identify improvement areas
• →Resolve supplier issues and disputes promptly and efficiently
• →Create and maintain delivery schedules between Distribution Center, Suppliers, and Stores
• →Ensure timely returns of damaged, expired, and non-usable items from Stores to Suppliers
• →Maintain master-data for all SKUs, ensuring accurate product configurations
• →Follow up with Suppliers on non-delivered items and improve fill-rates to reduce out-of-stock situations
• →Manage promotional stock transfers to ensure high availability
