About the Role
The Reconditioning Operations Manager oversees multiple reconditioning lines at Carvana's Inspection & Reconditioning Center, ensuring production metrics are consistently met. This role requires leadership across facilities and teams to maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Oversee multiple reconditioning lines, planning production for full working shifts
- →Manage facilities to meet or exceed targets in production, cost, and quality
- →Identify bottlenecks affecting site throughput and efficiency
- →Conduct weekly performance reviews with Senior Reconditioning leadership
- →Guide daily site manager huddles to establish priorities
- →Execute Continuous Improvement projects at home site and throughout the region
- →Foster growth and development in Reconditioning Lead and Manager populations
- →Uphold Carvana operating standards and processes
Requirements
- ✓Must be open to nationwide or regional relocation
- ✓Ability to maintain high volume and quality in fast-paced environments
- ✓Experience leading teams of over 50 associates
- ✓Track record of developing employees
- ✓Proven ability to solve operational challenges through root cause analysis
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing
- ✓Valid unrestricted driver’s license with clean record
- ✓Must be at least 18 years old
- ✓Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 pounds
- ✓Ability to work variable schedules as needed
