About the Role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join Carvana's team. This role involves extensive travel to support new and existing remote locations, providing technical assistance, and maintaining IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

→Travel up to 60% to help set up and support new and existing remote Carvana Locations
→Communicate with internal and external users and vendors on project timeline and completions
→Handle all powered devices (wired or wireless)
→Take incoming calls, emails, and walk-ups related to IT issues
→Set up IT accessories for new hires and assist with desk moves
→Document solutions to new problems and share them with the team
→Monitor system performance to ensure smooth operation
→Configure and maintain networked computer systems
→Maintain physical security for all infrastructure and endpoint devices
→Provide support for IT platform implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
→Participate in hardware refresh projects
→Resolve escalation requests and provide technical support
→Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues
→Coordinate with vendors and other business units for specific requirements
→Maintain inventory for all infrastructure-related hardware
→Document solutions for new problems in Jira
→Participate in an on-call rotation and after-hours work when needed

Requirements

✓High School Diploma or equivalent
✓Valid and current driver’s license
✓Advanced skills administering Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, and other network services
✓Advanced skills in Windows Operating System (Windows 7,8,10) and knowledge to create and push images
✓Knowledge in Mac OS X (El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra)
✓Experience with Meraki Security Appliances
✓Experience with all major types of mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows)
✓Understanding of enterprise network environments
✓Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills for IP Phones
✓Experience with G-Suite including Gmail, Calendar, and Drive
✓Intermediate skills supporting MS Office suite, especially Outlook and Office 365
✓Experience with troubleshooting AV equipment
✓Project management experience is a plus
✓4-6 years of IT experience in fast-paced environments
