What started as a simple reviews site is now one of the largest online car-changing destinations in Europe. Last year alone we grew over 50% with nearly Β£3bn worth of cars bought on site, while Β£1.8bn of cars were listed for sale through our Sell My Car service.
In 2024 we went big and acquired Autovia - creators of AutoExpress and Evo magazines - doubling our audience overnight. Together we now have one of the biggest YouTube [Upgrade to PRO to see link] channels in the world with almost 10m subscribers and over 1.1 billion annual views, while we sell 1.2 million print copies of our magazines and have an annual web content reach over 350million.

The Carwow sales team is small but mighty, working with the Partners Success & Marketplace teams to launch a brand new Carwow product - used cars! Hot on the back of our $52m Series E fundraise, we're now preparing to scale the team to drive our next period of growth.
Weβre engaging with automotive retailers of all different shapes & sizes to build awareness & enter long term mutually beneficial partnerships. We are building out a whole new team to drive used car advertising, so there is a real opportunity to help shape culture & the success of the team!
YOUR MISSION
As a key player in our rapidly expanding Business Development Team, you'll be at the forefront of forging new partnerships with automotive businesses across the UK. Armed with a deep understanding of our partners' goals & aspirations, you'll cultivate strong relationships and drive revenue growth through phone-based prospecting and cross-selling existing partners.
Carwow is a well-known automotive marketplace and we aim to further win the hearts & minds of automotive retailers; and you will be central to that mission. Working closely with our high-performing Partner Success, Sales and B2B marketing teams, you'll ensure our value proposition resonates with potential partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Generation: Engage with existing Carwow partners & brand new prospects, to generate meetings and drive Monthly Recurring Revenue
- Persuasion & Closing: Deliver compelling value propositions to decision-makers and secure buy-in through effective negotiation, predominantly through phone-based conversations.
- Collaboration & Influence: Partner with Sales & CS to position carwow as the preferred solution for automotive retailers across a breadth of products.
- Driving Efficiency: Share pipeline opportunities & intelligence with field teams and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Contributing to Growth: Provide market insights and feedback to regularly inform commercial, product and marketing strategies.
- Always be improving: Continuous improvement is part of our mantra, and you will be central to that - both internally at Carwow & with partners
Key Requirements
We're seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual with:
- Enthusiasm, curiosity and a desire to succeed
- A hunter mentality and a passion for growing new opportunities & revenue
- Team-player that has a desire to help grow a high-performing team that exhibits the Carwow culture
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills & organisational ability, including CRM system management
- Bonus points if you have experience working in or selling into the automotive industry, understanding the landscape
Why this might not be for you:
The Carwow Commercial teams push hard, move fast and are constantly evolving. This is a brand new team, focussing on a brand new product for Carwow - we are constantly learning and developing as we go. This is initially a phone-based role & there will be unforeseen obstacles and the potential for moving goalposts. This all works for us because we find it allows us to operate at our limit while continuously developing, but this can also be uncomfortable for some people so we'd rather flag that up front.
