About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Developer, Frontend (AI Platform) to define and lead a modular, reusable front-end architecture for Caseware Cloud. This role involves shaping front-end migration strategies, shared components, and UX patterns to enable teams to build AI-driven experiences faster and with higher quality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with Product, domain SMEs, and engineering teams to understand user workflows and AI use cases, advocating for optimal user experience
- →Define and lead front-end architectural patterns and migration pathways for modular, reusable components
- →Design and evolve shared UI primitives and interaction patterns for AI experiences
- →Partner with the AI Platform team to align front-end abstractions with backend agent execution models
- →Establish and enforce front-end engineering standards to drive adoption of shared components and patterns
- →Define, document, and present front-end architectural proposals and RFCs
- →Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance to front-end engineers
- →Identify and reduce cross-team front-end technical debt
- →Stay current with emerging front-end and AI-UX patterns
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of professional front-end engineering experience
- ✓Proven experience designing and evolving shared front-end platforms
- ✓Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (Angular preferred)
- ✓Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and application composition
- ✓Experience defining and executing migration strategies for front-end architectures
- ✓Ability to collaborate effectively with backend, platform, and AI engineers
- ✓Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction
- ✓Experience balancing developer experience, performance, accessibility, and product needs
- ✓Strong English language communication and collaboration skills
