About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Sound Designer to join our studio in Warsaw to drive audio development for Witcher 4. This role involves leading the Sound Design team and collaborating with cross-discipline teams to create an immersive audio experience for our upcoming game.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead a team of Sound Designers and drive game audio development in the project
- →Help define and maintain aesthetic continuity throughout the game and trailers
- →Collaborate closely with project Directors, Leads, Producers, and cross-discipline teams to craft immersive audio experiences
- →Plan, revise, track, and execute milestones, sprints, and roadmap deliverables
- →Support and coach team members to achieve impactful in-game results
- →Support the design and development of innovative audio systems using Unreal Engine 5, Wwise middleware, and in-house tools
- →Design, implement, and mix original and rich sound effects
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience as a Lead Sound Designer in game development
- ✓Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and guide team members
- ✓Expertise in audio middleware like Wwise and game engines like Unreal Engine 5
- ✓Experience with designing and implementing sound effects for narrative-driven RPGs
- ✓Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams
- ✓Passion for creating immersive audio experiences for games
