About the Role
We are looking for a mid-level UX Designer to join Charles Schwab's Digital Design System (DDS) team in Austin, TX. This role focuses on creating digital and email design patterns and components as well as interactive digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Create design patterns and components based on UX best practices and research
- →Design interactive digital experiences for web, email, and mobile app channels
- →Document design work in Figma and collaborate with product delivery teams
- →Lead discovery work on new design patterns and experiences
Requirements
- ✓Five+ years of relevant experience as a UX Designer or related role
- ✓Familiarity with Design Systems (DDS) and understanding of atomic-based design
- ✓Proficiency in Figma, including creating components and documentation
- ✓In-depth knowledge of design principles (layout, type, color, composition)
- ✓Experience with Jira and agile processes
- ✓Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
- ✓Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- ✓Self-starter who can lead discovery work on new design patterns
