About the Role
We are looking for a Consumer CRM Manager to join Checkatrade, the UK’s go-to home improvement marketplace. This role focuses on transforming our CRM from a campaign-led channel into a high-performance, automated growth engine that keeps homeowners coming back for life.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architecting the Homeowner Journey: Mapping the end-to-end lifecycle from the first search to the tenth booking identifying the "aha" moments that drive long-term loyalty.
- →Building Intelligent Automation: Designing and launching sophisticated, multi-channel flows in Braze (Email, Push, In-App, SMS) that react to user behavior in real-time.
- →Driving Commercial Impact: Moving beyond "opens and clicks" to own the metrics that matter: activation, repeat booking rates, and lifetime value (LTV).
- →Embedding CRM into the Product: Partnering with Product and Engineering to ensure lifecycle thinking is baked into our app, onboarding, and new features from day one.
- →Setting the Standard for Excellence: Establishing the playbooks, experimentation frameworks, and QA standards that allow us to scale our communications without losing quality.
Requirements
- ✓Deep CRM Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in lifecycle marketing or growth, specifically within marketplaces or digital platforms.
- ✓Platform Mastery: High proficiency in Braze (or equivalent) with the ability to build complex, automated multi-channel journeys at scale.
- ✓Analytical Rigor: A natural comfort with data and attribution; you know exactly how your campaigns move the needle on revenue and retention.
- ✓Strategic Intuition: You understand the "why" behind user behavior and know how to use triggers to drive frequency and trust.
- ✓A Bias for Action: You’re a builder who prefers creating scalable systems over running one-off campaigns, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
