About the Role
We are looking for a Python Developer to join our team at CI&T, working on a financial sector project. This role involves developing and evolving backend platform functionalities using Python.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and evolve features of a Python backend platform
- →Design and implement services and APIs end-to-end
- →Work with data pipelines and integrations in a distributed ecosystem
- →Monitor systems, analyze logs, metrics, and traces
- →Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and implement structural improvements
- →Write and maintain unit and integration tests
- →Contribute to team technical maturity by sharing knowledge and proposing engineering improvements
- →Take ownership of production, understanding technical and business impact
Requirements
- ✓Solid experience with Python
- ✓Experience building backend APIs and services (Django, FastAPI, or Flask)
- ✓Experience with ORMs and data modeling
- ✓Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- ✓Practical experience with Docker and Docker Compose
- ✓Familiarity with observability and monitoring practices
- ✓Experience with CI/CD and continuous delivery pipelines
- ✓Experience in complex environments with multiple teams and repositories
- ✓Experience with Azure cloud
- ✓Experience with Kubernetes (K8s)
- ✓Experience with MCP (FastMCP)
- ✓Practice using GitHub Copilot and similar tools
