About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software products for architecture, engineering, and consulting firms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement features, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions for AEC firms
- →Implement features, optimize performance, and troubleshoot technical issues
- →Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
- →Write, test, and optimize code following established standards
- →Create and maintain technical documentation
- →Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices
Requirements
- ✓Advanced/expert knowledge of SQL, Python, and/or Scala
- ✓Experience with data modeling, including relational and data warehouse schemas
- ✓Proficiency in ETL and data pipelines
- ✓Version control with Git
- ✓Experience with Cloud & Data Platforms: Azure and Microsoft Fabric
- ✓Visualization experience with Power BI preferred
- ✓English proficiency level: C1 or above
- ✓Passion for Software Engineering with continuous learning and innovation
- ✓Analytical Thinking to break down complex problems
- ✓Communication & Collaboration skills
- ✓Technical Leadership to guide peers and ensure code quality
- ✓Time Management with organized, proactive, and deadline-oriented approach
