About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Developer to join our team at CI&T in Campinas, Brazil. This role involves building scalable and intelligent solutions for large volumes of data in a financial sector project.

Key Responsibilities

→Understand technical requirements, refine activities, and estimate timelines for deliverables
→Develop and evolve data ingestion applications in the AWS environment
→Build automated tests to ensure quality of deliverables
→Apply software development best practices including design, naming conventions, test coverage, requirements fulfillment, and optimization
→Manage incidents
→Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, planning, demos, and retrospectives

Requirements

✓Experience with code versioning (Git, GitHub)
✓Experience in SQL for query construction, manipulation, and optimization
✓Experience in Python for ETL/ELT using libraries like NumPy and Pandas
✓Experience in PySpark for ETL/ELT
✓Knowledge of Partitioning, Lazy Evaluation, Caching, and UDFs using PySpark
✓Experience with CI/CD tools
✓Experience with relational and non-relational databases
✓Knowledge of dimensional data modeling
✓Knowledge of data governance and quality
✓Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Unittest, Pytest) in Python
✓Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
✓Experience with AWS resources including IAM, S3, Glue, RDS, DynamoDB, Lake Formation, Lambda, EC2, Step Function, EventBridge, and AWS Athena
