About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Developer to join our team at CI&T, supporting one of Latin America's largest banks in evolving their data platform. This role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Python.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop data processing routines and solutions using Python on Azure Databricks
- →Create, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability
- →Work with relational and non-relational databases, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of information
- →Perform data modeling (dimensional, star, and snowflake models)
- →Utilize Erwin Data Modeler for model creation, documentation, and governance
- →Support data preparation, treatment, and validation for analysis
- →Identify and correct failures in data ingestion and transformation processes
- →Participate in data quality control and integrity routines
- →Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to data-oriented solutions and continuous improvement
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in data development and modeling
- ✓Practical experience with Azure Databricks for pipeline development
- ✓Experience in data modeling (Entity-Relationship, Logical, and Physical models)
- ✓Proficiency in Python for data processing and manipulation
- ✓Experience with SQL (queries, views, procedures, and optimization)
- ✓Knowledge of MongoDB or another non-relational database
- ✓Familiarity with version control tools like Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket
- ✓Ability to work with moderate to large volumes of data
