About the Role
We are looking for an Infrastructure Project Lead - Energy to join Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group. This full-time position involves planning and overseeing site electrification projects, ensuring compliance with standards, budgets, and timelines while supporting global energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support the Infrastructure Manager in planning site electrification and other projects
- →Lead multiple site electrification projects from inception to completion
- →Develop budget evaluations and ensure proper budget tracking
- →Ensure technical designs meet required standards and validate concepts with stakeholders
- →Review site construction plans and electrical schematics
- →Develop and coordinate project schedules and participate in tendering processes
- →Follow up with suppliers to ensure deadlines and specifications are met
- →Provide regular updates and reports to departments and third parties
- →Ensure clear and complete documentation for project handover to touring teams
- →Conduct comparative studies with different energy sources for cost-efficient solutions
- →Support global energy consumption studies and GHG emissions inventory
Requirements
- ✓Degree in project management or equivalent experience
- ✓Electrical license or diploma in a related field
- ✓6 to 8 years of experience in a similar role is an asset
- ✓Experience in a touring show environment is a strong asset
- ✓Proven project management experience with strong decision-making and organizational skills
- ✓Initiative and ability to work independently with excellent communication and coordination skills
- ✓Good knowledge of electrical codes and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows environment)
- ✓Knowledge of AutoCAD, Schneider PME, and ETAP is an asset
- ✓Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential; fluency in French and other languages is an asset
- ✓Willingness and ability to travel internationally and work outside regular hours for time zone differences
