About the Role
The New York City Department of Investigation seeks an outstanding candidate to serve as Chief of Staff for the Operations Division. This is an integral leadership role supporting the Deputy Commissioner for Operations and working across multiple agency units.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as a strategic advisor and partner to the Deputy Commissioner of Operations
- →Provide guidance and specialized support to unit heads and managers across various departments
- →Manage strategic projects requiring cross-functional collaboration
- →Develop standard operating procedures and analyze policies and regulations
- →Provide strategic direction for procurement vehicles and operational priorities
- →Attend executive level meetings and follow-up on action items
- →Analyze quantitative data and create presentations for management
Requirements
- ✓Experience in project management and strategic planning
- ✓Strong understanding of operational business processes
- ✓Ability to work with stakeholders across multiple departments
- ✓Experience with policy development and procedural implementation
- ✓Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- ✓Knowledge of financial management protocols
