About the Role
The Department of Small Business Services (SBS) seeks a Contract Manager to support the Program Finance and Operations team in administering the Neighborhood Development Division’s Avenue NYC Commercial Revitalization portfolio. This role involves managing contracts, grants, and procurements while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage contract administration for commercial revitalization and organizational development grantees, including budgeting, scope refinement, and compliance
- →Liaise with SBS Fiscal, Management, and Audit (FMA) division and Legal team to ensure efficient contract registration
- →Provide guidance to partner organizations and grantees on project planning and implementation
- →Track and report on grantee performance evaluations
- →Represent SBS on Business Improvement Districts’ Board of Directors and at public events
Requirements
- ✓Experience in grant administration and contract management
- ✓Strong understanding of financial management and project management
- ✓Knowledge of government affairs and nonprofit management
- ✓Ability to work with external partners and government officials
- ✓Proficiency in HHS Accelerator Financials
