About the Role
The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) is seeking a Java Developer Graduate Intern to join their Office of Information Technology (OIT) team. This internship offers hands-on experience in application development, cloud-based solutions, data integration, and DevOps within a government setting.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist with the development of applications and APIs using Java, Oracle, Web-logic, Angular, Tomcat, DevSecOps, and associated tools
- →Help design and deploy applications utilizing cloud-based tools like Azure Kubernetes with SQL Server/Oracle backends
- →Develop and execute data integrations and feeds from Oracle and SQL Server databases using SSIS ETL integrations and APIs
- →Manage source code using version control systems such as Git, and develop, validate, and deploy code using DevOps pipeline
Requirements
- ✓Must be a graduate student currently enrolled in a college or university or have graduated within one year of the current program year
- ✓Basic knowledge of Java, Oracle, Web-logic, Angular, Tomcat, DevSecOps, and associated tools
- ✓Understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Hybrid Agile
- ✓Familiarity with cloud-based tools like Azure Kubernetes and SQL Server/Oracle backends
- ✓Experience with SSIS ETL integrations and APIs
- ✓Proficiency in version control systems such as Git
- ✓Experience with DevOps pipeline
