About the Role
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Software Engineer to join the Data Science team within the Office of Management Analysis and Planning (OMAP). OMAP serves as the primary evaluation and assessment arm of the NYPD, focusing on innovative strategies to enhance policy development and organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement RESTful APIs to integrate software solutions
- →Balance business requirements and technical specifications
- →Develop back-end services and simple front-end interfaces
- →Write clean code to strengthen relationships with external stakeholders
- →Contribute to the entire software product lifecycle from development to production
Requirements
