About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Infrastructure team at Clari. This role focuses on ensuring the stability and performance of our DataHub, the core of our Revenue Operations Platform. You will work on database reliability, cloud automation, and data integrity to scale our data systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Implement and maintain scaling of RDBMS (Postgres, MySQL, Amazon Aurora) and NoSQL systems (Cassandra, MongoDB)
- →Build and maintain automation and tooling (Infrastructure as Code) for database deployments
- →Participate in database operations including backups, restores, and high-availability configurations
- →Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in production and non-production environments
- →Work with senior engineers and product teams to implement database schema changes
- →Ensure data resources are protected and leveraged efficiently through security standards
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience managing or supporting cloud-based database systems (AWS/GCP)
- ✓Strong working knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with NoSQL systems (MongoDB or Cassandra)
- ✓Experience using automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- ✓Proficiency in Python or Bash for automating administrative tasks
- ✓Understanding of database backups, replication, and high-availability concepts
- ✓Solid SQL skills with the ability to troubleshoot and tune query performance issues
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
