About the Role

ClearEdge is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to support a computing environment for data science and advanced modeling for the Intelligence Community. This role involves maintaining security, performance, and reliability of Linux-based systems across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

→Maintain the security posture, performance, and reliability of Linux-based systems
→Serve as a key technical resource for system health, monitoring, compliance, and user support
→Work closely with cross-functional technical teams to transform system metrics into actionable insights
→Manage user accounts and access controls across Linux environments
→Maintain the security posture of multiple system environments
→Monitor system performance and application health
→Support data-processing and custom software applications
→Administer virtual machines running Linux and Windows
→Support systems hosted in AWS environments
→Maintain system compliance and accreditation documentation
→Configure and maintain monitoring tools such as Nagios, Splunk, or Elastic
→Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues
→Coordinate system administration efforts across multiple technical teams

Requirements

✓TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
✓Three or more years of system administration experience in this environment
✓Experience administering Linux systems in production environments
✓Experience maintaining and administering virtual machines on Linux and Windows
✓Experience administering systems in AWS environments
✓Experience maintaining system compliance and accreditation
✓Experience configuring and using monitoring tools such as Nagios, Splunk, or Elastic
✓Experience troubleshooting technical issues in custom software environments
✓Experience coordinating system administration activities across multiple teams or organizations
✓High School diploma or GED
✓Ability to obtain an IAT Level II certification within 180 days of start date
