About the Role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join Cloudflare's sales team, focusing on digital native startups in the mid-market segment. This role involves selling into innovative companies in North America, driving product discussions, and demonstrating value to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive technical discussions and implementations to help generate new business and expand existing business
- →Qualify prospect and customer use cases, discover technical requirements, lead demonstrations, and identify solutions
- →Advise existing customers on technical best practices, implementation of Cloudflare products, and strategic guidance
- →Travel 20-30% to attend meetings, conferences, and collaborate with teammates
Requirements
- ✓Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go)
- ✓Expertise in internet technologies: OSI Model layers 1-7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP(S), SSL/TLS
- ✓Familiarity with Zero Trust Framework and SASE concepts
- ✓6+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales or consulting role
- ✓Technical curiosity and passion for internet technology
- ✓Focus on learning, teaching, collaboration, mentorship, and growth
- ✓Project management, relationship building, and EQ skills
