About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic Solutions Engineer to join our Pre-Sales Solution Engineering organization at Cloudflare. This role involves technical sales of Cloudflare's solution portfolio, ensuring business value and fit-for-purpose solution design for customers. You will work with strategic accounts to define solution architecture and scale your expertise across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain long-term technical relationships with key accounts
- →Drive strategic conversations with stakeholders to increase Cloudflare's reputation
- →Be the voice of the customer, influencing Product Management and Roadmap
- →Create professional content including white papers, reference architectures, and demo labs
- →Represent and evangelize Cloudflare at various industry events
- →Apply in-depth vertical knowledge and domain expertise
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of relevant experience
- ✓Experience interacting with senior executives on network and security transformation
- ✓Understanding of customer network and application architectures
- ✓Knowledge of hybrid architectures with Azure, AWS, GCP
- ✓Experience with Secure Web Gateway, CASB, DLP, DNS, DNS over HTTPS
- ✓Understanding of IdP/authentication, SAML, OTP
- ✓SaaS application integration and tenant controls
- ✓VPN and remote access challenges
- ✓SIEM and log analytics platforms
- ✓Client OS fundamentals and software distribution
- ✓Hands-on configuration skills
