About the Role
We are building a new Visual Moderation product inside Cloudinary. The team is small, fast, and operates in a startup-style independent environment while owning the full lifecycle from product definitions to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and evolve the backend for a high throughput moderation platform
- →Design async pipelines and workflow systems
- →Handle large media volumes and multi tenant workloads
- →Run AI and ML inference pipelines at scale with a focus on cost and reliability
- →Ship iteratively while keeping long term quality in mind
- →Operate with high standards in testing, reliability, and observability
Requirements
- ✓Exceptional backend engineer with 10+ years of experience, including deep hands on experience delivering web based production systems at scale
- ✓Confident working across the backend stack. We use Python, AWS, Postgres, Kubernetes, and Temporal
- ✓Experienced with cloud environments, distributed systems, queues, async processing, and monitoring
- ✓Some basic experience with DevOps work is helpful
- ✓Great team player
