About the Role

We are looking for an Android Developer to join our team at Coderio. This role focuses on developing and maintaining scalable mobile applications with a focus on geolocation and BLE technologies.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop and maintain Android applications ensuring stability, performance, and smooth user experience
→Implement native functionalities in Java/Kotlin including Geolocation, BLE Scanning, and IoT device connectivity
→Integrate applications with APIs and cloud services provided by the backend team
→Participate in developing offline/online flows and efficient local state management
→Implement push notifications, monitoring, and connectivity event management
→Collaborate with backend, QA, and IoT teams for technical requirements and integration validation
→Apply development best practices, unit testing, and quality control in each delivery

Requirements

✓Minimum 3 years of experience in Android mobile app development with Java or Kotlin
✓Proven experience in Geolocation (GPS, Fused Location, Maps)
✓Proven experience in BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) on Android
✓Solid knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Cognito, AppSync, DynamoDB, S3)
✓Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
✓Solid knowledge of mobile testing
✓Experience with architectural patterns (MVVM / MVI)
✓Knowledge of dependency management in Android projects
✓Reside in Argentina, Chile, or Paraguay
