About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to join Coinbase, where you will play a critical role in building the next generation of crypto products. This role involves working closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to create innovative products and experiences that shape the future of cryptocurrency.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with Compliance (FCRI, MLROs), CX Operations, and Engineering to define AI-friendly procedures, approval frameworks, and go-live criteria
- →Manage complex stakeholder relationships across ET, Compliance leadership, CX leadership, and Platform PG
- →Define and track key metrics including automation rate, false positive reduction, case quality, and cost savings
- →Navigate regulatory constraints including SAR confidentiality requirements, GDPR, and AI governance policies
- →Build and lead a small PM team (1-2 direct reports) focused on Compliance Automation execution
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in AI/ML-powered automation, compliance technology, or operational automation
- ✓Experience leading large, complex cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- ✓Strong technical aptitude with the ability to partner effectively with ML engineers and understand agentic AI architectures
- ✓Experience with regulated environments (fintech, banking, AML/BSA) and navigating compliance approval processes
- ✓Demonstrated ability to drive executive-level alignment and communicate with senior leadership
- ✓Experience managing managers or leading PM teams
- ✓Strong analytical skills with experience defining success metrics, tracking glidepaths, and course-correcting based on data
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce exec-level documents and presentations
