About the Role
We are seeking a Blockchain Node Engineer to join Coinbase, where you will be responsible for managing blockchain nodes that connect our company to 55 different blockchains. This role requires a passion for crypto and blockchain technology and the ability to work in an intense, high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage blockchain traffic, including stateful failover between multiple external providers
- →Ensure data consistency and block freshness to power critical internal services
- →Maintain reliability and scalability across the blockchain platform stack
- →Pioneer new technologies such as decoupling blockchain node storage and compute
- →Build platforms to reduce engineering effort and operational TOIL
Requirements
- ✓At least 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- ✓Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
- ✓Knowledge of service oriented architecture
- ✓Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code
- ✓Passion for building an open financial system
