About the role:
The HRBP Director serves as a strategic partner to the engineering organizationβs leadership and provides expert guidance on all areas of People Strategy. This role is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives, driving talent management initiatives, and fostering a positive organizational culture. The HRBP Director will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of HR programs and practices.

What Youβll Do:
Strategic HR Leadership:
β’ Collaborate with Engineering leadership to identify and implement People strategies that support business goals and enhance organizational effectiveness.
β’ Act as a trusted advisor to on People related matters, providing insights and recommendations.
Talent Management:
β’ Reviews the key metrics related to talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
β’ Implement succession planning processes to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
Organizational Development:
β’ Lead organizational change initiatives to enhance agility and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
β’ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through employee engagement and development programs.
Employee Relations:
β’ Partners with employee relations on issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and practices.
β’ Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while promoting a positive work environment.
Performance Management:
β’ Provide coaching and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations and delivering feedback.
Training and Development:
β’ Identify training needs and coach leaders on creating development plans to support employee growth.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
β’ Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess workforce trends, identify challenges, and inform strategic decisions.
β’ Develop reports and presentations for leadership that highlight key HR initiatives and outcomes.
Diversity and Inclusion:
β’ Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
β’ Develop programs and policies that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Collaboration:
β’ Collaborate with other HR functions (such as compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR operations) to ensure cohesive HR practices
What Youβll Bring:
β’ Education: Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources supporting engineering functions within the Tech market.
β’ HR Expertise: Extensive knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
β’ Leadership Skills: Proven experience with direct or indirect management of HR teams and influencing stakeholders.
β’ Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to align HR initiatives with business goals.
β’ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence others.
β’ Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.
β’ Change Management: Experience leading change initiatives and managing organizational transformations.
β’ Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee multiple HR initiatives and ensure successful implementation.

Compensation Transparency
Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.
