About the Role
We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our team at Collibra Inc. This role involves managing and maintaining cloud deployments, implementing database integration solutions, and supporting customers with complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage and maintain self-hosted cloud deployments including deployment, hardening, scaling, and decommissioning
- →Code and implement third-party database integration solutions on big data warehouses
- →Support customers with complex environments and deployments
- →Assist with knowledge transfer to internal product support teams
- →Maintain strong security postures in collaboration with security teams
Requirements
- ✓Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field plus four years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus six years of experience
- ✓Experience managing cloud assets across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- ✓Experience implementing and maintaining security postures using tools like CrowdStrike, Lacework, Datadog, etc.
- ✓Experience with Git, GitOps practices, and Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Experience with IaC and configuration management tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Packer
- ✓Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Argo CD
- ✓Experience with diverse data storage platforms including Hadoop, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
