About the Role
The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing world-class product demonstrations to prospective ConnectWise partners. This role plays a key part in driving the technological evaluation stage of the sales process and consulting with prospective customers to recommend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Represent technical aspects of ConnectWise products and propose how these benefit prospective customers
- →Provide technical expertise in producing product demonstrations and presentations
- →Execute proof of concepts with prospects to show value and recommend solutions
- →Scope technical solutions required to align product designs to customers’ business needs
- →Position technology to both business and technical users in a consultative manner
- →Prepare, research and provide input into technical RFPs/RFQs
- →Articulate product enhancements and engineering specifications to various departments
- →Provide product knowledge and technology expertise through training and coaching
- →Maintain understanding of technical sales techniques and processes
- →Pursue ongoing training and education to stay current with products and technologies
Requirements
- ✓Outstanding understanding in multiple ConnectWise products and their integration points
- ✓Advanced technology and industry knowledge, including best practices and processes
- ✓Ability to articulate company solution strategies at technical and business detail
- ✓Excellent communication skills for both internal and external customers
- ✓Organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
- ✓Strong presentation skills and professional written communication
- ✓Flexible, dependable and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
- ✓3+ years of relevant experience
- ✓Experience with ConnectWise Business Management Solutions

- ✓15% or greater travel may be required
