About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join ConnectWise, a global software company that helps technology solution providers manage their businesses better. This role involves developing high-quality software and working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems.
- →Work actively within an Agile/Scrum framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- →Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- →Influence others within the Software Engineering team through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
- →Assist with the improvement of organizational engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
- →Evaluate code for validity, proper structure, and alignment with industry standards; participate in testing and certification.
Requirements
- ✓Proficiency in Golang is required. Candidates with expert-level Java or Python experience and a commitment to transitioning to Go will be considered.
- ✓Deep familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker and Kubernetes).
- ✓Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems capable of handling high traffic and large-scale datasets.
- ✓Strong proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- ✓Comprehensive understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle.
