About the Role
The Director of Product Marketing is the primary strategist for market positioning and competitive standards at Contentful, a leading intelligent composable content platform. This role serves as the bridge between brand vision and product roadmap, identifying strategic gaps to out-position competitors and establishing the platform as the benchmark for modern DXP and CMS categories.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the master product messaging and positioning frameworks for products that define the business
- →Act as the primary liaison to the Product Management organization
- →Serve as the narrative connective tissue between Product, Sales, Analyst Relations, and Corporate Marketing teams
- →Develop and maintain foundational assets that represent the business
- →Direct a high-performing Core PMM team across multiple time zones
Requirements
- ✓At least 8-10 years of experience in Product Marketing or a related strategic function within B2B SaaS
- ✓3-5 years of experience leading a team
- ✓Direct experience in CMS, DXP, or Personalization technology is highly preferred
- ✓Exceptional communication skills as a writer and public speaker
- ✓Proven track record of managing global teams (US and EMEA)
- ✓Hands-on fluency in modern software architecture
- ✓Refined sense of timing and tone for adjusting messages
