About the Role
We are looking for a driven Platform Engineer to join our Core Data Team at Contentful. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of our data operations, collaborating with developers and internal stakeholders to create cutting-edge tools for data customers while maintaining a highly adaptable platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable and maintainable software solutions for our data platform
- →Architect and implement systems for efficient data orchestration
- →Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the data platform
- →Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- →Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of Engineering experience
- ✓Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
- ✓Proficient coding skills in Python, (Golang & TypeScript are a plus)
- ✓Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform (Terragrunt is a plus)
- ✓Proficiency in CI/CD tools, setting up complex workflows with a focus on CircleCI
- ✓Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
- ✓Experience with Git and streaming services
- ✓Familiarity with Apache Airflow and/or AWS Redshift
