About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer (FinOps) to develop, implement, and maintain our central financial operations solutions across AWS and Azure landing zones. This role focuses on optimizing cloud costs and creating financial transparency for our global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- βDeveloping and implementing FinOps practices and tooling across AWS and Azure landing zones to optimize cloud spending
- βCreating comprehensive cost visibility dashboards and reports for stakeholder transparency
- βAutomating financial operations processes including budget alerts, anomaly detection, and chargeback mechanisms
- βAnalyzing cloud consumption patterns and recommending cost optimization strategies
- βImplementing strategies and financial controls to ensure proper cost allocation
- βTroubleshooting and resolving customer-reported platform issues, service requests, and work orders
- βCreating and maintaining technical documentation and operational runbooks
