About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join Convera, a global leader in cross-border payments. This role focuses on driving revenue growth by acquiring and developing strategic client relationships in the cross-border payments and FX space.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify, target, and acquire new clients in key sectors like financial institutions, corporates, e-commerce, and B2B platforms.
- →Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- →Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
- →Provide consultative selling of Convera’s FX and payment solutions, including hedging strategies and payment automation tools.
- →Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- →Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices in business development.
Requirements
- ✓7+ years in business development or sales within cross-border payments, FX, or financial services.
- ✓Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a B2B environment.
- ✓Strong understanding of FX markets, hedging instruments, and international payment processes.
- ✓Familiarity with regulatory requirements in global payments and financial compliance.
- ✓Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- ✓Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions.
