About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Convera, the largest non-bank B2B cross-border payments company in the world. You will shape the future of payment products by applying your technical skills and analytical mindset to one of the richest data sets globally.

Key Responsibilities

→Work with large and complex data sets to solve challenging problems using analytical and statistical approaches
→Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data presentation to develop business strategies
→Identify and measure success of business efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key product metrics
→Define, understand, and test opportunities to improve the business and drive roadmaps through insights and recommendations
→Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform product strategy and investment decisions

Requirements

✓Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant technical field
✓2+ years of work experience in analytics and data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R)
✓2+ years of experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches and leading data-driven projects from definition to execution
