About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at CookUnity. This role involves designing and architecting scalable platforms that empower engineers to deliver features efficiently. You will collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to drive impactful changes and ensure the seamless operation of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage Kubernetes clusters and EKS environments for efficient scaling and high availability
- →Create and maintain a robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) framework using Terraform
- →Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab for seamless software delivery
- →Manage our growing database fleet, including RDS Postgres and MySQL
- →Design and manage event streaming platforms like Kafka and Kinesis
- →Implement and maintain security measures for our systems
- →Develop and maintain observability and monitoring tools
- →Partner with Compliance and Security teams for compliance workstreams
Requirements
- ✓Experience with AWS and advanced multi-region cloud networking
- ✓Strong IaC knowledge and experience with Terraform
- ✓Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker
- ✓Experience with Kubernetes and EKS
- ✓Experience with database management and migrations
- ✓Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Experience partnering with Security and Compliance teams
- ✓Working knowledge of control frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- ✓Familiarity with compliance requirements in regulated environments
